Jiffy
In Kurena village, Pärnumaa, a €4.2 million expansion of the Treffex peat processing plant was commissioned. Treffex, part of the Norwegian-owned Jiffy Group, increased its operational capacity to meet growing demand in the horticultural sector.
The expansion initially created three new jobs, with up to seven additional positions planned upon reaching full production capacity. The investment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to strengthening its production base in Estonia.

As part of the Kurena plant expansion, Treffex introduced new production equipment designed to improve efficiency, consistency, and product quality. The upgraded processing setup supports higher throughput and more controlled manufacturing of growing media for professional horticulture.
The technological upgrade formed a key component of the €4.2 million investment, enabling optimized production processes and improved operational reliability.
